Working as part of the Finance team, the Payroll Officer will be responsible for the accurate processing of payroll for schools supported by the Catholic Education Office.
This role will provide operational support for payroll systems and respond to payroll queries in a timely manner.
As an experienced Payroll Officer you will be able to:
- Administer a payroll system and maintain accurate payroll records
- Apply payments in accordance with relevant legislation and Enterprise Agreements
- Ensure all payroll processing meets auditing requirements
The role will be based in the Catholic Education Office, Ballarat, you will be willing and able to travel at times, typically within the Ballarat Diocese in the delivery of this crucial role. A valid Driver’s Licence is required and access to a pool car will be provided.
